Wondering what is your favorite Petite Corona on regular basis. Also, of the lesser priced ones such at Upmann Corona Major, Romeo No 2, Partagas Petite Corona Especiales if anyone has tried them and likes them or thinks any of them rate up with the Bolivar PC, Partagas Shorts, Trinidad Reayes, MC4 that usually cost a little more???

I'm a huge fan of the Diplo 4's. If you can get them with age, with is pretty easy, they're absolutely spectacular. Maybe not as lively or exuberant as, say, a Partagas, but very interesting, well-rounded flavors. Also, they strike me as very strong. This is sort of an old-fashioned tasting cigar but well worth your while. I paid about $145 for them.

diplo #4 and MC4 are very goodsmokes.. but in my opinion, NOTHING beats a trinidad reyes... over the last few years, I've smoked many partags shorts, diplo #4, MC4 and siglo 2, but the reyes is always my go-to cigar.. at any time, you can find at least 2 full boxes in my cabinet, and an open one in the humi...
and you can get the reyes between 120 and 180 US $.... which if you ask me is a pretty good price.... in fact, I just ordered a box for 130 last week...
Bolivar are the current champs. I want to try the ERDMs, though. I have heard good things about the El Reys but have not yet gone through with a purchase.

Petite Coronas are to me by far the best value and my favorite vitola to say the least. Too me, they are the pefect balance of time and enjoyment. Heres my stock/take on them and a rating in this size from 1 to 10
H Upmann C Major- 7 -medium-decent young, I don't think aging them would do a lot.
Punch- Punch- 8 -med-to-strong I love the Punch Marca, aging a box now.
Punch- RS #12- 8 - about the same as the PP maybe slightly stronger, smoking a 2002 box now. very good.
Por Larranaga- 9 - med-to-strong, Feb 2006 cab tastes incredable, had to by one to rest and one to smoke, I'm sure It will be a 10 in 2-3 years.
RyJ PC- 7/8 - Fairly good young- strong- slightly bitter- time will help. Had a few tightly rolled.
RyJ Corinatas en cedro- 9 - Medium- One of the best young smokes I've tried. Perfect draw one of my favorites. One of the best values in this size.
El ray del Mundo-PC- 10 - Mild to med- 2001 box is devine. A nice mild smoke. Floral and rich with flavor.
Partagas Mille Fleurs- 7 - Strong A good smoke but can be bitter. A few tight draws aging a fe from 2005.
Partagas deluxe- 4 - Strong- bitter - sour -plugged. don't waste your money. Had some for 2-3 years- time doesn't help.
Bolivar-pc - 10 - Great young smoke. aging an 2006 cab as well. strong but inviting full of flavor, complex and robust.
Fonseca delicas - 5 - Mild to med - decent flavor, machine made - tight draws on most.

IMHO, any box of cigars can vary wildly. Be careful about crossing off any brand/vitola on some master list due to a bad box. Once you get a "sour" box, you will never try it again, I am sure, so how can you definitively say they are sour. You've only had one box, lol. That doesn't change the fact that PCs are the best value out of Cuba in any given year. That much I would agree with for sure.
