Has anyone tried these or know anything about their release? I don't know if they have even been released yet. They sure look really nice and creamy. The box looks real sexy. I wonder if they are worth the name grand reserva or if they are like the Monte #4 Grand Reserva, good but no diferent than any other good #4.
The montecristo #4 was a reserva i believe and not a gran reserva. reserva's have tobacco that is aged at least 3 years and a gran reserva has to be aged at least 5 years. im sure a monte gran reserva will be coming soon though in the next few years.

Exactly right, I await with baited breath next years planned Cohiba Super Gran Reserva made with the finest 10 year old leaf. Word on the grapevine is MSRP expected at $250 per cigar...
Expert journalists have already given it an unblind 101 1/2 points.

I don't know which grapevine you are listening too, but there isn't a Habanos distributor on this entire planet who has named the MSRP that high.

You're reading that wrong Greg, he's talking about the Super Gran Reservas coming out next year. The ones that Fidel rolled himself...why do you think he's been away from the media for so long?
"You think you da Queen-Bee?...but you really a He-She!" Go Ricki, Go Ricki !!
Ahh yes, my mistake. Of course. We weren't supposed to say anything about it. When the Super Gran Reservas do in fact come out, you may just see Cigar Aficionado's first score of 200 points.
Exactly, I shouldnt have even said anything as its still under wraps in Havana.
