Dear Mr Suckling or any cuban cigar expert. Should you wait and let this new cigar mature. Most boxes are dated early this year. Just wondering it time will make this cigar better or should i smoke away now.

smoke one or two now, save the rest for a few years... you won't regeret it then.... in fact, you'll regret it if you don't.

since I have a hard time aging stuff , I usuallytry buy 2 boxes. I save one of them for a few years, and end up smoking most of the other one.. but as time advances, and if I see that the cigars are getting bettre, i might just end up saving the remains of the open box

I guess one could indulge right away, as james states, but i personally think if the smokes are good now, they'll be 10 times better in 2 to 3 years..

That's good advice. If a cigar already tastes great, what is the point of aging?

Smoke some, age some . . . . it's about enjoyment, not following some set of rules.

Petit Edmundo...wouldn't that be a robusto? How about a petit Double Corona...wouldn't that be a corona gorda? Maybe a petit petit tres petit corona...marlboro!

Haven't they gone a bit too far?

I smoked one right out of the box after a week or two in my humidor and felt it was a little green. It definitely has complexity, but I'm going to revisit it next month and see what a little bit of time has done to it.
