I was given one of these from a cigar merchant in Calgary, AB last summer to try. Sort of thought it was a dud...better said...nothing too special.

Last week, I bought 2 over here to try again (gotta do this!), and smoked one last night.
What a difference! Great smoke! First of all, the size is perfect! Longer than a robusto, and a little fatter...made perfectly! Not too good with taste description...except to say this was a strong typical Monte cigar. Perfect burn and draw and loads of wonderful smoke.

I will pick up more of these.

Any other experiences with this new cigar??

Not to be a jerk...but, this topic has been done several times, Eddies aren't new, and most seem to prefer MC2....having said that, I think I'll smoke an Eddie tonight! Wink

I purchased a box of the Edmundo's about 6 months ago, and found them to be a bit young, that is an immature taste compaired to the other Monte's I have smoked.

I put 6 or 7 away in my storage humidor, however I have not smoked one since.

Same here. Got a box last week. 1st one tasted a bit green with a raw finish, but burned great.

Second tasted okay, nothing great, burned great, rough ending.

Hope they age well.

Happy New Year. Gotta go smoke a Salomones.
