I was studying the label closely while finishing up a petite corona and noticed "Leopold Roi Des Belge" on the outside edge of the medallion to the left of the general. I thought this was interesting.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I did some searching and kind of came up empty.

Smoke em if you got em

I've never noticed that before, you must have been looking very closely.
"Leopold Roi Des Belge", King Leopold of Belgium, was written on old Belgian coin.
The medallion probably represents an award won in Belgium, sometime during the reign of one of the Leopolds.

Yeah saw this question on another sight I visit. Um, I think it may be from a global tasting like at a world's fair or something.
