I did a search on this cigar and really didn't find much on them but these have sparked my interest (cool shape). How would you rate/ or recommend this smoke? I also read that these are being discontinued, why? Lastly, what box codes would you recommend, if any?

These smokes have a very woody flavor. I find them similar to the Hoyo Des Dieux. I've had 98s that are excellent and 99s plagued with draw problems. Have recently seen 2001s offered, but at extreamly high prices.

A good alternative would be the new 2004 production of the Partagas Presedente, similar shape but a bit longer.

The new Presidentes are good, too B-man. My advice on these CF's is to get as OLD as you can find or hope for some new stock to come out...wouldn't surprise me in the least if they did. Most people say it's too bad to tame, maybe rougher than a Cazadore. I've only had one, and it was 3 years old and pretty stout.
