I saw the Topic about Wine Cooler into Humidor's, and thought I would post the pics of my Wine Cooler. It works great and It keeps my cigars at 64/66, which is the greatest for cubans. You cant see all the stogies, but I will take them out and take pics in the next few days. I currently have around 500 cuban cigars inside(i have moved to only cubans). I purchased bigger than I needed, because I knew I would be filling it up soon enough. Hope You Enjoy. Heres The Link

if so, first thing you should do is open back of the cooler and use silicone to add more insulation to where the thermoelectric module and the cooler make contact. this will prevent much of unwanted condensation inside your wine coolidor. next is buy an active humidifier. some beads to catch condensation. if i only knew, i would have saved money and time. good luck.

If you're serious about getting one I'd get it now at target, they're $139. They can be as easy or as complicatd as you want. You can just clean it, plug it in, and throw some beads in there. Some people use cedar veneer on the inside others do custom cedat lining, it's all up to you.

wine cooler is the only way to go. due to it's value and maintaining cigars in excellent condition. i recommend 28 bottle capacity of any brand, as long as its thermoelectric. the cheaper, the better. save the extra cash on an active humidifier.

An active humidifier is not necessary. I have a Cigar Oasis, I had it in the Wine Cooler at the beginning, but found out soon enough that it wasn't needed. I have 2 lbs of 65% Heartfelt beads sitting in the middle back (it catches all the condensation perfectly) it provides me with great humidity (64%-67%). One thing that has really helped is, I have three small fans inside, which are located upper, middle, and lower. They work great and they are super quiet. I am super happy with my Wine Cooler, I have appx. 12 boxes in it, and it will hold probably 7-8 boxes more. Hope This Helps.
You have to let those stogies age.

yes it does and i love it. went to my local target and they were out of the wine cooler i'll try a couple of others tomorrow but was'nt a wasted trip, passed by a local cigar shop who has a nice selection but never really comes up with anything great, but he had 5 opus x, looks like a corona size..bought them up!
wine coolers, beads,+ the cc's it's getting to be more expensive of a hobby than my golf,oh we'll heading out to the deck to smoke a monte pet edmundo,a drink a bottle of wine and wait for the nba finals
joey...to be cost efficient. get the wine cooler that you like and try it out with silica-cat litter beads, got it for 8bucks at petsmart. humidify the beads, and if the wine coolidor retains the proper rh. then youre good to go. not all wine coolidors will behave the same. good luck. i will be watching the game as well. save up your petit edmundos...they will be classics when they get some aging.
