Would love to hear others' thoughts about underrated or lesser-known CCs they have enjoyed. Mine would include the Upmann Corona and Hoyo Coronation, both of which are certainly acknowledged as solid smokes but not as commonly mentioned as I believe they should be given price/performance considerations.

For me, the entire Fonseca line is much and unfairly maligned. Fonseca #1 and Cosacos with age are exceptional smokes.

The whole Quay Dorsay line is underrated. They are in a league of their own. Very difficult to obtain.

La glorias...#1, #2, #3, #4 and the Taino's are all excellent smokes. Especially with age. Will second the Quai Dorsay line. Fonseca #1 is best bang for your buck cuban IMO.

Being new to CCs, I post a question. Which cigars, besides the Jose Piedras, consist of short or sandwich fillers?

I enjoy the Vegueros quite a bit.

The Rafael Gonzalez Coronas Extras is a great cigar in the Corona Gorda vitola.

As well, the Vegas Robaina have always been well made very refined and quite tasty.

The Cuaba's have been very good and quite unique.

The Punch Royal Selection #11 an #12 are incredible cigars that I don't here too much about.

I'm not sure if they're underrated but I have a box of San Cristobal La Fuerza's from Aug 03 that are smoking well, I have some La Punta's from Feb 06 that are smoking well young.

I'm also not sure if they're underrated but the ERDM Choix Supreme and SLR Regios are very good cigars in the Robusto* category.

*( I guess they're officially Hermoso #4)
