Hello, I have read what is going on in this forum daily for the last year and a half. I have recently found myself much less interested in seeing what was going on due to some seriously mean spirited banter. I am all for people giving each other a little grief, sophomoric humor, etc. But when is the mean spirited stuff gonna end? It permeates almost every thread. Or am I misinterpreting what is going on?

It won't/doesn't. There are a handful of members whom I enjoy reading their posts and who possess a tremendous amount of knowledge. Hence the occasional return. Otherwise I have moved on to other boards that are less, shall we say rabid.

this is the only board i post on. I don't understand how anyone would have time to keep up with more than one board. Juts posting on one is overwhelming. I kind of like the nuttiness of this board though...i shall stay.

The problem is that a few egocentric wannabes post so much misinformation on Cuba and Cuban cigars that people who actually have the knowledge and expirience in Cuba cannot let the bulls$It slide. It is not fair to the newbs who come here for factual information to be misled by jokers and posers.

Yeah, I tend to have a short fuse when I see a post by someone who has only smoked a handfull of cc's and tries to convince the newbs that he end all of information.
If someone asks a serious question that have any knowledge on I will try and help them out.
If someone posts crap I will call them on it, but hey, thats me. I mix quite well with those I choose to but have nothing but contempt for posers or those who talk just to hear themselves.
In the future I might try let it slide but "it ain't easy"

That's a great attitude Roy. Everyone has something to contribute to the CA forum, even the noobs with their experiences, and jerk offs like me.

It is really funny. For years I posted how great EL's are, and had the likes of you and many other old timers tell me I was wasting my money on over priced cigars. Also, been told that my plugged Cuban cigars were probably fake. God I could go on about the falsehoods that come out of the old timers on this board.

So when I finally find a regular production run cigar (Juan Lopez #2), which is great, and post a thread on it, suddenly I am a egocentric wannabe. Others who try the cigar also agree it is great value for the quality and taste. Almost 20,000 views and some great useful banter on that thread. A real shame you cannot join the social crowd.

My advice to ketch, hetch, letch and retch is to put me a handful of others on ignore. Clearly if I knew 10% of what you have forgotten over the 70 years of your existence, I would be a better man.

There is a lot of free software out there Ketch, and I would even be willing to donate my time from my busy software company to personally set it up for you and your lot so you can create the ultimate cigar board, doling out expert advise, and blocking a-holes like me from posting. I am sure your cigar forum would attract advertisers the likes of CA has never seen, and members who would cow tow to your every bit of expert advice.

That ignore feature is there for you as well!
As for that cigar board you would like to set up for me, don't waste your superb skills and precious resources, it already exists and is private by invitation only.

Overcome by his own ineptitude, our hero Cohn resorts once again to form over substance...all under the guise of amusing humor. After all - without substance, all one has is form (such as it is).

Then what on earth are you doing here? You get kicked off your own cigar board?

Someone needs to expose the posers and truckiers.

I think your all a little Mashuguna for the short time I've been on the board. Everyone has been helpful and at times a couple posters very critical of some things I've posted. Thats ok because some people really don't mean it or thats their style and that ok by me also. I'm hear to learn and have some fun Smile

Where else would you rather be, than right here, right now?

I don't see you mixing well with others here; hope it changes.

You come off like you're trying to stop others from having fun. You know 1000 times more about cc than I do, but you're the last person I'd come to for information at this point.

I assure you, Kechke is no where near the reason so many good people want nothing to do with this board anymore. It's pretty obvious, posers feed off other posers.

Hmm, must have left those scenes on the cutting room floor. Should have left them in as they are funny as heel.
