The best I had was last week at LCDH in TJ. A Siglo IV with a cup of Mexican coffee. The coffee made this stick shine in all the right places. Creamy, smooth, and full.
Havent had much luck with spirits in regards to finding a nice marriage. What do you guys like??
Lots of combos , a couple i had recently diet coke with don pepin blue , two fingers of jw blue with a monte#2 , pappy van winkle 23yr with any cohiba , any vsg with some strong coffee just to name a few

With just cigars in general I utilize a few different options: If I want to enjoy/review/try out a new cigar it's only ice cold water for me, all I then get is the flavors of the stick
If I want to pair it and feel really good after it I utilize Scotch, I usually tend to stay away from it being too peat-y (sic)
If I want to enhance the cigar I'll pair it with what most reviews or my past experience tell me it tastes like (i.e. Coke for the caramel and chocolate, beer for the rich and woody, Lemonade for the acidity of a spicy cigar)
