If you are looking for a very enjoyable, pleasant tasting and non-demanding julieta then I think you will enjoy the El Rey del Mundo Tainos. I have slb's from 96 and 99 and they are getting quite excellent. The best part about this Habanos is that you can come across some well-aged ones if you look.
As for the La Gloria Tainos, I have gone through a couple of dress boxes of them but still not sure if I really like this one. Since they come only in the 10 count box it is easy to experiment with them however it is sort of bad if you want to age them again since there are only ten.

Thanks. Now that i think about it i once had a LC Choix Supreme that was decent. Never had the El Rey but hopefully if all goes well i will be trying them soon. Also found some 1999 Partagas Lonsdales. I enjoy cigars of all strengths just as long as they taste good so the El Rey`s should be just what i`m lookin for. Say hows the Draw on your 1999`s.

Muskrat, you appear to have a bit of dyslexcia (?) concerning LGC and ERDM Big Grin Both make Tainos, Choix Sup. is ERDM. My LGC Tainos from 00 are mostly to tight to smoke, good flavor when they do. Have a box of Choix Sup. on the way.

I don't think it is just that I do not like a really strong smoke, but I really love the ERDM
Tainos! As stated above, it is certainly a non-threatening Julieta2, but it is so smooth and loaded with little nuances. You might forget you were smoking a Cuban cigar but for the wonderful flavors on such a light body. I have also heard that they do not degenerate a lot even after aging for awhile, and that is a real plus. This cigar is one of my alltime favorites so far, and I have alot of others to compare it to. It is just that good. But again, the light body is not for everybody, but even hardcore smokers enjoy them. I would like to get 2 more boxes before they disappear forever.

Thanks NoLa now i can`t wait to get them. I don`t mind lighter smokes like Cuaba and Foseca so i`m sure the ERDM will be great. Have some 1999 Partagas lonsdales on the way too so the ERDM should be a nice contrast.

By old style label, I am sure you mean Cuban warranty seal, eh? I know that the ERDM Tainos come in a SLB with burned in emblems. I imagine you went with EDC CCUA at that rate. That most likely would have the older larger warranty seal. I bet they looked great!
