I think I may soon buy my first box of CC's. I want something that will age well (it seems that most do). Price does matter so I am keeping that in mind too. My short list includes Monte #2's (they seem to be a classic). Monte PE's (I've seen many compliments paid to them here). Cohiba Siglo 2's might be another option but it doesn't seem they enjoy the popularity of the others. I am open to suggestions. Thanks, Krazee

Recently did my first two orders -RASCC and JL#1s and both are fantastic. I really love the flavors of the RASCC... the JLs need some time. I'd say go with something you have had and like, all will age well for the most part.

I like monte 2's as well but instead, consider the PSP No.2 as an alternative.
They are one of the absolute best cigars I have tried lately.
As for Cohiba, the Robusto is is hands down winner in my book.

if you can enjoy a smaller cigar w/o getting it too heated up, the cohiba sig II is a great choice. if you need something bigger w/ ring guage the monte #2 is a good choice due to its universal appeal and generally consistent quality.

of the cigars you mentioned, the monte pe is my favorite. i like the vitola and i think the tobacco is always spot on montecristo. this cigar is a gem rott.

unless you have the time and patience to age your cigars, rott flavor is going to be a factor in your selection.

you can always avoid the stressful choice and opt for a sampler of vitolas and marcas.

enjoy your cigars.

cheers

Some suggestions. All reasonably priced with the exception being the Churchills, they're a bit more.

Montecristo #4
Excellent cigar, medium body, lots of flavours. A classic.

Partagas Series D4.
Top notch Robusto, medium/full body. Very tasty.

Montecristo Petit Edmundo.
Another winner from Monty. Creamy smooth cigar. Pick up a box of 10 at the very least.

Romeo y Julieta Churchills.
A classic cigar for the man with two hours to smoke and relax. Complex tastes, looks beautiful in your humidor too, if you can resist smoking them too quickly. Wink

The RyJ was the cigar often pictured with Winston Churchill and thus is the original "Churchill" if I remember reading correctly.
