Cool victory cigar smoke from Nino:

Hello,

I am sending you the text of a global call for a simultaneous
cigar smoke to celebrate the election of Barack Obama as 44-th
President of the USA.

This text will be posted on my website today.

You are welcome to pass this information on to other
cigar smoking friends, cigar boards or media.

This is a non-comercial, politically uncorrect but funny idea that we had after
trying out a simultaneous cigar smoke a few days ago :-)

We might even make it into the Guinnes World of Records ...............
imagine !!

Thank you for your support !

Best regards
Rick, Guy and Nino

Hello cigar friend,

This week we witnessed history being made with the election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States.

To commemorate this momentous election, we are asking our friends from around the globe to celebrate by smoking a cigar at the same moment.  This Sunday, November 9th at  1900 hrs. GMT ( 2000 hrs Central European Time, 1:00pm US Central time) we will smoke our favorite cigars and take a photo with some sort of acknowledgement of the election, such as the front page of our local newspaper or similar item.

Please take a photo with you holding the item and your cigar, groups are even better, remember to SMILE.

Send the photo with the name(s) of those in the photo, the location (city, sta te, and COUNTRY) and a description of the cigars being smoked.

We will post the photos on a website for all to enjoy as quickly as possible.  Website address will be sent to those sending photos and will be posted on other sites across the world as quickly as possible.

Send photos and narrative to :   worldstogiesforobama@austin.rr.com.

This idea is the private Initiative of a group of cigar friends : Rick in Texas, Guy in France and Nino in Germany

REMEMBER TO SMILE !
--
Nino Munoz

Would be pretty cool if someone actually had a victory cigar smoke with Obama, and sent in a picture of that momentous event.

BTW, it would be 2 p.m. Eastern Time, so unless you are sleeping you should be able to take part.

Planning on buying a 1998 Cohiba Lancero and lighting up if the nearby LCDH still has these in stock.

Probably smoke one of the following:

1) Millennium Cuaba
2) Millennium Cohiba piramide
3) Cohiba DC 2003
4) 11 year old Monti A from 1997 (only 2 or 3 left from a box purchased in Cuba)

Unless this is for CCs only, maybe a Cigar Talk thread would be more productive.

Yeah, he's in that maximum security penitenciary for the criminally cool... The Fonz spent some time there in the '70s...
