...sigh. Frown

See for yourself. Brand new box of Cuabas Exclusivos. One seems moldy, the other I hope is just showing signs of plume.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Sorry Bund,
But from what I see it looks like mold.
Plume, as much as I know, usually is less concentrated.
Plus, in one of those pics the area in question looks too green to be plume.
I may be wrong, but I have seen both in person.
Just my .02.
Also, plume should rub right off with little effort. Mold, a little tougher to rub off.
I am interesred to read what the other have to say.
Others.... Let's say you.

Mold. Plume should be crystaline and uniform over the cigars.

Just wipe it off, it's fine.

That's nothing to worry about, wipe it off and it should smoke just fine.

That's definitely mold but it's not a bad case. I have had mold on cigars much worse than that and it still wiped off fine and smoked well. As long as you wipe them off really well and keep them at a decent humidity it shouldn't come back or infect your other smokes.

Thats mold. No problem, brush/wipe it off and let the sticks come down to proper humidity and enjoy.
