OK,

So I was a bit of a prick to Trevor, and I want to make penance. As well I think Trevor needs some help, and this will be just that ticket some of you have been waiting for: to help educate Trevor, and show him what a real Cuban cigar is. And what a great bunch of sports we are, and bygones on the fake Sublimes. He11, I bet we have all faked it at some point in our life (with girlfriends or at work), and little forgiveness is always nice.

Here is what I propose. I will donate a real Dante Edmundo, a Partagas Salomone, and the numbered Dante cigar box, and other generous folks on the CA board that would like to help in the education of Trevor, can donate cigars to be placed in the Dante box.

Once the box is full, I will ship it to Trevor and the fine folks at VC. Then they can educate themselves on what a real Cuban cigar looks, smells and tastes like.

Now I know what some of you are thinking, will Trevor even know which end to light and which end to cut. I am one step ahead of you here and have thought of a solution to this predicament. I will draw little arrows on the cigar bands to indicate the end he should stick in his mouth and the end that gets the torch.

Come on folks, lets show Trevor that we care about his inability to spot a fake Cuban and that we are here for him, to help light the path to real Cuban cigar enlightenment.

If a Rolex distributor sends over a Rolex to a jeweller would the jeweller suspect it of being fake? I'm just saying maybe some of the blame is to be directed at Havana House, of course only if that is where they came from. Maybe they need some education too. Maybe it's just denial "can't be fake, it's from Havana House".

The problem is that the havanouse comments are one sided and only posted by trevor. Who knows if those comments were actually made by roger or havanahouse...

When I spoke to roger he never actually admitted anything was real or fake. Also he could NOT confirm if the fake cigars he's selling were actually bought from him (havanouse).

Their stories never jived trevor's story was one sided and Roger thought something else. Trevor claimed he got 10 boxes last year and Roger thought it was a mater of 10 measly cigars. Why can't Roger check his books if he sold them 10 boxes of cigar or NOT.

I highly doubt any 1 single LCDH ever received 10 boxes of sublimes when they were distributed and now especially in 2007. Even if havanouse was "aging them" to sell at a premium, I doubt Vancouver Cigar would get all these allocated boxes and not the local LCDH.

Anyone can draw their own conclusions; I am so upset at all this and still can't believe he scammed over $17,000 from people. He has the people’s names if he really was that inept and didn’t know he was selling fakes why does he not call them and refund their money... If roger would of confirmed these 10 boxes were NOT sold then we would know that they are in fact knowingly bringing in fakes and selling them..

I just think that Havanahouse wants to protect these “small merchants” and not say anything. Personally I think with the new tobacco laws everywhere its hurting the industry. These small guys need to find other means…

These are classic cigars. There is a funny story to go along with the box of licorice cigars.

Remember Matt? I bugged him so much that I felt pretty bad, and as penance I sent him a Cohiba Sublime. But I carefully placed it in a cigar tube and then put it inside one of these licorice cigar boxes.

When he got the box, he flipped out thinking I sent him candy cigars as a joke. But he opened the box and found the real Cohiba Sublime. Damn that was an expensive joke.

Here is Matt's note to me:
> wow.... good one Steve...... I was having a bad day yesterday, opened
> your package, saw the licorice candy cigar box, and was about a half a
> second from slam dunking it in the garbage.....
>
> then, rational thought kicked in, so I opened it, and found that sweet
> looking 04.....
>
> thanks again Steve....
