i lied..i said a month ago that i would be passing on this years le's...well 3 boxes just arrived with 10 loose new trindad robusto's. the 48's look terrific and will try one with some friends after dinner.i tried one of the trinnys and thought it was too mild, generally i am not a fan of the brand and these did nothing to change...i gave the rest to my good friend who is hooked on cc...we also leaped into the boli...man they are strong and tasty..you really need to eat before smoking..with some age they will no doubt be great...i like strong smokes and they were ..i repeat strong....the dukes are really impressive looking..and will be sampled in the next day..

i have smoked the mag 48, the trini robusto t and the r&j dukes.
all have admirable qualities, although i am certain the most popular will be the trinidad robusto. it is closest to the profile of the marca and a vitola that will fly off the shelves.
A friend of mine just got boxes of the Trini robusto and bolivar EL. Of course he gave me a couple. The Boli's look a little rough in the cap. The Trinidads have a much cleaner look to them. I've always been a fan of the pigtail caps. Both smell delightful and it takes quite an effort not to spark one up right away, but I think I am going to heed my friends advice and let them settle a little, before smoking them.
i think that it's hard to rate them just yet...i'm thinking that i will be buying a few more boxes ..and that a low 90 rating is appropriate..looking forward to seeing what experts view them.

Hi Guys, I already smoked one for testing and I have to admit that was very surprised that such a young smoke taste so nice. Of course the flavors right now are not subtle but you can notice a very sweet taste and that "tangy" sensation. The aroma was very pleasent also. Probably as Michaels said I will buying at least another box since I predict a good result for aging with this small cigars. Regards,
Xavier

Maybe the size could be an issue but the flavors promise to get better with age... good right now for sure great in 3 years.
