There is one of the best places in all of Mexico to purchase legit. Cuban cigars in Puerto Vallarta...I think the street is called ALDAMA...the store, if it's still there, is called CASA DEL HABANO. It's not on the Malecon (or the principle waterfront drive in the main part of town), it's inland a couple of blocks, up the street from the Hard Rock Cafe.
IMPORTANT!!!!! Don't buy anywhere else, no matter how attractive the prices...that is the ONLY place there that is reliable. But, bring a lot of money because cigars are going to be very expensive there.
Also check out a little restaurant on the Malecon called "La Bodeguita del Medio" you can't miss it. Great place for lunch. They sell cigars there, too, but I repeat...the ONLY place to get AUTHENTIC Cuban cigars is at the Casa del Habano, and while the food is good, don't get your cigars there. Try the "tostones" which are fried bananas, as well as the "mojito" which is the specialty drink of the house.
Finally, you actually MIGHT see a Hurst pull a U-Haul, because that's a company that makes shifters for cars, among other things. You won't see a hearse pull one, unless you watch the film classic "Harold and Maude" because a hearse is the vehicle that is used in funerals.
