Hi All,

New to the board and I have a question I'm hoping someone might be able to answer.. Can anyone tell me approximate prices on Cuban cigar boxes at the Pearson Airport Duty Free? Perhaps the price for a box of Monte #2 or Edmundo? I am travelling in a few weeks and I'm trying to determine in advance if it I'm better off buying them in TO or Frankfurt Duty Free (which displays prices on their website).

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers!

They have a very small supply of Cuban cigars, which are not properly humified and as they are not an official Cuban supplier (LCDH), I would be wary of their cigar authenticity.

As well their prices are only about 33% lower than cigars that sell in LCDH Cuban cigar stores in TO. For example, Monti #2's are $20 a piece.

the government taxes tobacco way too much here....I'm thinking of moving to Switzerland just for the low tobacco tax.

I cannot see your email in your profile. If it is not too much trouble, just ask the question in this thread, and I will answer it.
