I live in the states and will be visiting Windsor, Canada in a few weeks. Does anyone know of a good shop in the area? What should I expect to pay for Habana singles? I know there is a wide selection and range of prices. I'm asking if you have any experience in the area and what you have seen for prices. Thanks

there is one LCDH in downtown Windsor. Fakes abound in the other stores. $35 for a Cohiba Rob. and $75 for a Monte A. Very expensive, but if you've never been, it's a nice expereince and he has a great set of special humidors in the place.

yup, expect to pay $20 - $40 for most decent sized smokes. Enjoy the trip

LCDH is the best but I would also try "World of Habanos" up the street, they're both on Ouellette.

welcome to canada... neighbor from the south..

we might have CC's. around here.... but they sure are not cheap... a premium smoke will run you 20 to 75 $.. maybe even more for an older one.... my local B&M sells the 2006 Cohiba EL 2006 for 89.95 $ and the 2001 for 99.95 $..

The LCDH in Windsor is worth the trip IMHO. Just remember you can't smoke there; well not inside.

Wow, that's expensive for the Piramides. LCDH Toronto has the 2006 for $68, but are unfortunately out of the 2001. They do have the 2000 millenium cohiba, and that one goes for about $95.

The LCDH is great but you might want to check to see if you can smoke in there. I kid you not. I was up in Windsor in 2006 right before the smoking ban started and the LCDH was going to become smoke free... Frown

Yeah, you can't smoke anywhere indoors in Ontario anymore, including LCDH.
