No no, you have to READ for six months. Presence does not count.
I don't blame guys for coming over here. If I were at some of the other "new" boards, I would go elsewhere, too. So few posts, especially on weekends. Not really many people, lot of the same old stuff . . . gets boring. Far more turnover here.

You HAVE TO read for 6 months before posting questions...according to who? Is this a forum rule or is this a case of someone trying to make their OWN rules?

According to ME -- it is MY opinion. When people read, they acquire INFORMATION. And INFORMATION is a good thing to have.

OK, but maybe you might want to say you "should" read 6 months before posting instead of saying you "have to". That makes it sound like it's your rule instead of your opinion.

I have been reading since February. I believe I've had enough of just reading. I'm sure I can learn a lot, especially from some of these "new noobs" with weird names. It seems to me that some of the "older" guys have a "better than thou" condescending attitude. It seems they talk down to people and act like they know it all, when in fact I have seen them say things that simply were not true at all.
