I've visited a couple LCDH's in the past and loved it. I'll be on a cruise in September and one of the stops is Antigua. I found info that says there is an LCDH there. Does anyone have any experience with it? Are the prices high? Where is it exactly? Any info is appreciated.

La Casa del Habano, meaning house of Habano's. They are franchise shops through the Cuban government, selling only Cuban cigars. They are the only way to guarantee you are getting legitimate Cuban cigars anywhere in the world. Other shops may sell legit cigars but an LCDH is the only way to rest assured.
Check to see if they have email Tiny. I recently went to St. Maarten. I emailed them for directions and not only did they send me directions, they included a recent price sheet.
The prices were for boxes, but she had an excellent selection of singles as well. She was nice enough to open a box of Partagas Salomones 2008 for me.
They were not cheap, but it was nice to be able to have a baseline for the cigars I like as well as the ability to sample some singles I was interested in.
Be sure to bring directions. I went with a Tour guide who never heard of an LCDH. I asked the taxi stand 5 blocks away from the LCDH and they never heard of them either. I forgot the directions on the cruise ship, but was lucky enough to find a map and remember the street name. Of course, it was at the end of that street 1/4 mile away.
I live here in Antigua. The LCDH here is sort of Ok, I buy cigars from them from time to time. Be aware that I have had cigar beetle problems with some of their cigars. They also don't have the best selection, and they run the AC in the store and don't have a walk-in humidor. I recommend only buying tubos from them

Can you tell me how to get there from the cruise ship docks? Do they have a website?
Thanks.

Anyone ever use a credit card at a LCDH? Is the charge listed as LCDH? If so, might not be a good idea for US citizens. I always pay cash and was just curious.
