short sharp review.

Box code TEB DIC 07
box number 3043/6000 (re-release)

Purchased (LCDH Dubai)

Nose- light and sweet plenty of floral notes, wood and dryish barnyard Hay)
wrapper - nice standard wrapper, not as dark as Salibas007 (first release)but quite nice.
Touch - firm, not too soft and spongy but certainly not hard to the squeeze.
Draw - perfect and slightly firm.
Burn - almost perfect all the way through.

this was truly a good cigar, very pleasant and full of soft flavors. very floral with some complexity and a general softness, i quite enjoyed this cigar even though i prefer a fuller body smoke.

it kept me very interested all the way through without grabbing my full attention. i don’t know if more age will change or improve this cigar this but i suspect not (in my opinion)

overall an 90 - 91 out of 100.

i would be very keen to see other reviews on this stick, preferably from the first release 1-3000 (go on Sal give it a blast)

i would also be keen in swapping a first release stick for a second release stick to see if there is any difference in the blend.

Feel free to ask any questions. (I will fire another one up in 6 to 12 months)

thanks

I got one of these from Sal last week. I can't wait to try it, but it will have to wait a month or two while it settles in the humi...

Sal i am not a big Bolivar smoker but ill try my best.

i think its softer and sweeter than the recent boli canada robusto (i have smoked one of and enjoyed) but the DC has greater variance of flavours and more flavours to concentrate on.

i love the Part Lusitania and the boli is not as full in flavour but there is a little more going on. i had it as an afternoon cigar and maybe the next one ill have after a nice dinner.

i hope this helps.
