A bunch of us just returned from Punta Cana, DR to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. As we're sitting on the beach, I couldn't count the number of times someone tried to sell us real CC's for a great price. Not only that but one of the drivers at our resort "had a brother that worked in a factory in Cuba and he sent them to him" While we didn't ask price (we should have out of curiosity)do you think there are that many people buying them? I didn't see any, but it was a large resort. Just an observation.

They are not real, that was my point. I've read on this board the story that when you go to an island the locals approach you with the story their brother works in the factory. I was just confirming that it happens

The only thing that is real in PC is the heat. Bring your own cigars and fine spirits.
Enjoy the weather and the view. And even some of the view is propped up with silicone.

oh.. trust me, people buy.. no mattre how much you warn some people, they'll still buy, because they beleive the guy was their friend, he couldn't have been screwing them.. right ??? friends don't scrwew friends,... (priceless)
I was in Costa Rica two weeks ago and saw more glass top Cohiba boxes , and Cohiba robusto boxes sell for $30-$50. Some of the guys down with us were grubbing up three and four boxes like they were treasures.
I am now typing from a room in the Hilton in San Salvador , there are fakes for sale in the lobby. I can buy a fake box of Monte #5s for $200. also Cohiba,R&J and assorted Monte's, It is unreal just how big the business of fake CCs really is. And it is so widespread because people buy them up.
I've got to say there were more "naturals" than silicones. Although on the flip side, there were far too many 60 70 year olds that had their original equipment in full view
