James, Noted your rave comments (in a different thread) about a recent 1991 Monte 2. But do I recall correctly your once saying in a column that pyramides are not your favorite CC vitola? If so, wonder what vitolas you do enjoy and why. Thanks in advance ...
I smoked it a couple of days ago and it was a dream. I swear it smoked itself. The draw was perfect. I tend to smoke robustos or Laguito No. 1s with the occasional corona or lonsdale thrown in ...

Mr. Japan. Thanks for reminding me. I didn't see the Monte No. 4 special deal. It's not a limited edition. It is a reserve edition in a lacquer box like the Serie D a few years ago.

It's interesting that you smoke only a few sizes of cigars. Does this mean that most of your stash consists of those sizes in different marques, Whenever I shop I always look for a variation of vitolas to stock my humidors.

The Petite Edmundos are very tasty, well the one i smoked was, haha. I prefer the flavor profile of these over the regular eddies. They are fuller in body and flavor IMO. Definitely have some aging potential!

All these positive remarks on the Petite Edmundos are really getting me interested. I might just have to pull the trigger on one tonight weather permitting. BTW, jadawin, I checked out your photos...great stash. How did you like that Sublime? That is one of my favorite sticks right now.

I hear ya chris. I have heard nothing but good things about the Monte Pet Edmundo so I just pulled the trigger on a box of 10. My aristocrat is bursting but I am sure I can find room for a small box.

I smoked my first Monte PE last night. The cigar certainly has a lot of strength to it with earthy and woody flavors. I think with time it will gain more depth with a few years of aging. BTW, it toom me roughly 30 minutes to smoke it. This stick was definitely enjoyable and should get better with time.
