I have an empty cigar box my uncle gave me back in the late 1950's. Don't know how to post pic so here is info on box:
LA PRIMADORA HABANA 20th CENTURY EXTRA CLARO CARDBOARD BOX Bottom writing: TP 221 FLA G " The ordinary price of the cigars herein contained is intended by the manufacturer to be more thatn 20 cents each.
50 cigars
SEAL:Oval box seal with LA PRIMADORA written across it in script.
Any help with determining if this is pre-embargo would be helpful.
The embargo started in '62, so if you got it in the late '50s, it doubtless preembargo. Whether or not it's prerevolution (revolution was in '59) is another question, and one that I'm not qualified to answer.
