Very true, and if they look so great on pictures I can imagine how mind-blowing they look actually.
How do they taste? Ah, never mind - I want these regardless of what you say about their taste It's a shame I don't have them being so close, by many accounts even inside ME. I'm gonna go give some hard talk to the local LCDH manager

Karl
are you saying that the DC's are milder than the Libs ??
I'd assume it is because teh libs have a bigger ring gauge.. and the length of teh DC's allows the smoke to cool down before hitting your mouth, and therefore smoothening it out a bit.... but again, this is just an assumption... I'll be ure to post a comparison once I get to teh DC's
Karlz opinion is one that is shared by anyone I have talked to about this cigar, these are very cigars. Anyone looking for the Bolivar strength will be disappointed. But still they are a beautiful cigar and as long as your expectations are for mild you will enjoy these. Do not expect them to get stronger with age, they will get more subtle, which you may want or not want, that is personal.
They are milder because of the blend. The other cigar does not have the same blend.
Your guess about the length of the cigar allowing the smoke to cool down thus becoming smoother and milder is.....off.
I is purely the blend that dictates strength. Not length. A strong cigar to me is one that has big flavor, not the head spinning nictotine strength that some smokers think of as strong.
The length of the cigar has little to do with its smoothness. Strong cigars can and should be smooth if the tobacco is from the VA and is properly cured, aged and blended.
The blend is the most important part in making a cigar.
