Yep. Those 2006 Sublimes are real alright. As real as the 2007 Dom Perignons.

"Ok words out, the box of sublimes 2006 are real."

Yes, and I have a pre-release box of Cockhiba Triple Coronas EL 2010. Enjoy with a slice of lemon rammed into the foot of the cigar.

I will posting a review, as soon as I dislodge this brick from my forehead, as it is apparently interfering with my rational judgement skills.

Guys, I apologize in advance about my following question not being in line with this thread... I did a search for "Sublimes" but failed to land on something more specific.

Basically, if I had a chance to purchase a box of Sublimes, that I know to be authentic, at a pretty expensive price... are they worth it? (We're talking about $75 a stick here.)

They've been stored in pristine conditions and I'm 101% sure of their authenticity.

See, I've never smoked one, but I can just tell (stupid, I know) that I'd love em.... and if nothing else I wonder if they'd make a nice addition to my collection... or is that price just to high?

Are they worth it? Hmm, maybe not at $75 US a stick, but certainly at $36 to $40US.

Are they good sticks? Holy $hit YES!

But for $2,000 for the box, sounds like you are dealing with a Canadian B&M.

I bought a box for $1,000, and they are worth every cent, as they are an outstanding smoke (97/98) that will get even better with more age.

I had another one over the weekend and it just blew me away. See my review here: http://forums.cigaraficionado.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/76...=277104764#277104764

Great reply Steve... as always (I may not post often, but I read this forum every day)

Thanks again for your reply, Sir.

Awesome review!

ps: Why are Canadian prices higher? Is it a case of unscrupulous dealers taking advantage of US "importers"?

Taxes. Gas and alcohol are also about 85% taxes.

I have not had these cigars (yet), but according to a couple of folks on the CA board, they are as good as the Sublime EL 2004.
