As I mentioned in other post I was surprised to found this box in one of my "old humidor".

I asked but no reply for this box code, tasting or whatever.

So today I saw again this box (do not ask why!)in other humidor. So I open it and smoked the first habano of this 25 dress box

What a great surprise.

Even the 15 y.o. single malt went to third place. This Habano start like a champ. Slow burn, taking his time until release a GREAT aroma.

When I said great aroma is because I can smoke inside my home.

The wrapper is dark and despite the 12 years old the oils were there and asking to be feel and honor.

But believe me. The amazing look was just the prsentation card of this habano.

The burn, aroma, feel and TASTE was much much better.

I fired up this dalia with a very changing weather..., but WTF. This humidor has been per years to a constant humidity of 63 to 66%

First third very subltle and elegant, floral and sweet... like a nice breakfast with combined a juicy and sweet fruit jam. The second third become more complex. A balance of floral taste with a tasting notes of a soft colombian coffee, without bitterness nor acidity.

At this point the ash was a white-grey big tube.

What a nice looking burning cigar!

The last third, for my surprise, was VERY strong. The aroma become nicer at the point that my wife notice it and asked me for a "such nice smell".

But the taste was for a big bull. All this flavors turn all together with adding dark cherry flavor and subtle notes of dark chocolate.

I`m very glad that I can share this expiernce with people that known the pleasure I`m talking about.

I will post pictures of THIS box.

Regards,

Xavier

Xavier no aguites.

Jose

Not the usual Boli flavour in the Immensas but who cares...they are great at any age. Pity being discontinued.

Here you go Xavier,

The Sancho Panza Belicosos smoked today was very good. I think I enjoyed the Non Plus from last night a bit more but this one was a pleasure to smoke none the less . The draw was perfect unlike the Non Plus that had a slightly tight draw. The burn perfect as was the Non Plus. One of the first cigars I smoked the day after my wedding last year was a Montecristo no.4. The Sancho Panza Non Plus and the Belicosos reminded me of the Montecristo a lot. The smell of the Non Plus burning was just like the Monte 4 when I first started and it brought back sweet memories. The Belicosos was like smoking a Monte no.2 but smaller. Very enjoyable cigars and I am glad I tried this marca. There are still a few marcas that I have not tried but Sancho Panza and Diplomaticos are two of my favorite lesser known marcas.
