I am seeking the wisdom of the board here.When you have recieved a dress box is there a thin strip of glassin paper over the bands to protect them?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It might be missing because someone went through the box to check out the cigars and didn't replace it, or it might depend on the availability of wax paper at any given factory at any given time.

There sould be a piece of wax type paper across the top layer of the box from top to bottom. Why I don't know, but I don't think it is to protect the bands.

My cigars always come in cigar boxes. If your cigars arrive in a dress box, then they are fakes. Especially if the dress is still in it. Wink

Sorry couldn't resist. If you are worried about the presence of a strip, it sounds like you might not have confidence in your source.

Thanks TEl and BinDer.I never ordered online before. Im from Detroit and go to Windsor when I want to get a nice cc but I would like to have them deliverd to me,I've been afraid of the online sources, has anyone had a bad experience with the law?
