Had a my first Ramon Allones Gigantes last night. This is one of the largest CCs I've had. I was quite impressed. I assumed it would be mild/medium like most of the larger vitolas out there, but it packed quite a punch. The flavor had a floral/fruity note and it was very smooth. I absolutely could not believe how well this 7.5 inch cigar drew. It was perfect, loads of creamy smoke. I don't have a box code as it was a sample stick. Yet another to add to the box procurement list......

One of my favorite DC's. I went with a bunch of people who used to post on this board to the restaurant "Del Frisco's Double Eagle" in Vegas. It was opening night, and after a few Chopin martini's with bleu cheese stuffed olives (wow!), and one fantastic dinner, I lit up one of those and it was absolutely superb...! Sometimes, they seem to be a bit mild, but when you get a good one they can't be beat.

I'm going to have to get some one day. The RASCC's are out of this world good and they were my first venture into the RA line.

Go Beavs!

I just ordered a box of 50. I figured the BBF's are fantastic right out of the box, so I'm hoping that these follow that trend.

If you're referring to the RAG, they don't come in 50. 25 dress box only. No cigar mentioned in this thread comes in 50. The only Ramon Allones that comes in 50 is the RASS.

I love the RAG. The ones I have are getting better and better, age suits this cigar. At five years they are going to be spectacular. I'm slowly smoking '02s and everyone who samples the cigars I have says the RAG has a pronounced 'nutty' flavor.
Great cigar for watching a ball game, playing cards or a long drive.

I find that they are a bit too short, and also too flexible, to drive a golf ball very far at all... Big Grin

Just so people don't get confused, the BCG, BCE, and BPC all come in 50 cabs, but they are not mentioned in this thread.
