...a reasonable temperature has set in where I live. I hope everyone can get out and shake off the winter rust with a few good rounds of golf. I know I will. Enjoy everyone!

I hate playing in the cold. It's too hard to swing when you are wearing all those clothes

I agree PADRE. I played one round when we started it was low 40s. I will probably never do that again. Hurts your hands and you can't swing the club.

I booked my first tee-time of the season for Saturday and it feels mighty good.

If I ever make a post that starts off with a line like, "FINALLY!!" it'll be because I got a hole in one. A few eagles (2 on par 4's, 2 on par 5's), but no aces. THEN my post will say, "FINALLY"!

Rabbi walks into a church to make a confessional...sits in the booth...the priest is a bit confused. The rabbi says how he's never been to confessinal before, and how he wants to talk about this experience he had with a new girlfriend half his age with all the energy and verve, what they did, where they did it, and so on. After the rabbi goes on and on, the priest asks, but aren't you of another faith? Why are you telling me???? The rabbi responds..."you kidding??? I'm telling EVERYBODY!!"

I live in Texas, but if I lived where it was too cold for half the year to play golf; I would yell from the rooftops when it finally warmed up to play again.

Just make sure you follow up with us on some scores. If you come back and shot a 120 then we are going to have to BAN your thread.

I haven't shot anything as bad as a 120 in a long time. I'm usually a upper 80s and lower 90s kinda player. Really depends on how good or bad I putt. I will let you know on the next trip.
