Been looking into a vacation to myrtle beach just out of the blue. Wondered if anyone from here has been there before to play golf? I have probably a dumb question but when you go there to play golf and the golf courses are right off the hotel is the golf included, discounted, or full price? Any other tips or suggestions would be great.

It is a very enjoyable time. As far as prices and paying for golf, etc, look into a package deal. We went that route and played some fantastic courses. There are quite a few golf package places that will help you get set up. I know the guy who set ours up was a great help to our organizer.

You have to play Caledonia while you are there, it is a very nice and picturesque course. We also had True Blue Plantation, TPC of Myrtle Beach and Tradition included in our price. It was very reasonable for six days, we had a group of about 12 or 16 guys and it was a great time!

Enjoy.

If you call any hotel or any course, they can hook you up with stay & play options. Good news is that it's hard to go wrong. I've done the cheap ones and expensive ones. So many good courses.

Don't forget cigars! Check out Nick's Cigar World--two locations on US 17, and a small outlet inside the Martin's PGA Superstore.
