While having a great time on the course yesterday here in Eastern TN (Rarity Bay in Vonore)I shot the best round of my life. I didn't even realize it until we added up the card in the parking lot. It was one of those days when all I had on my mind was smoking a few cigars and having a great time with my Dad and our best friends. Conditions were perfect and I didn't hit but a couple of bad shots all day. Not bad for a 13 handicap. I think my Dad is more excited about it than I am. He called me twice after we got home embellishing on what a great round it was. What a great day!

im an 18 index and snot an 84 on To Dye Fore in Dominican Republic. I had a caddie and played pretty well. I hooked up with a guy that had just qualified for the senior pro tour and he could really hit it. He was playing the back tees and I was playing the regular mens tees and he would outdrive me anywhere from 40 - 75 yards. one of the most memorable rounds of my life

Good for you Jon!!! It's a blessing and a curse. My best 9 hole total is a 32 (par 35) and my best 18 hole total is a 74 (par 72). I can't get those scores out of my head. Now an even par 9 holes seems like it could be better. It's a constant battle for a near perfect round...but it's still fun Smile

cjl...To me the 77 is a great number but just another number. I have played golf all my life just to relax, smoke cigars and spend time with freinds. The score has been something that just came in time and not something that I have really worked all that hard at. To be honest, that best thing about it was that my Dad was with me all the way. I think he is more excited about it than me! Anyway you look at it we had a great day.
