What else goes better with golf, than having a nice smoke to accompany your game. I tend to smoke larger cigars, and prefer churchills, with the RyJ Churchill being my favorite on the course.
WHAT'S YOURS?

For some reason I always reach for a pyramid of some sort...Monte 2, Upmann 2, something like that. Maybe it's because I still get the same quantity of tobacco, but I can still swing without the cigar getting in the way! I find that it's tough to swing with a double corona in your mouth. I'd set it down, but someone I was playing with once suggested that doing so might be employing the use of an alignment aid!! LOL!

I generally play in some pretty stifling conditions, so I like something more mild and not so long, so that there isn't a big build up of tar. If I am playing someplace special, like Bethpage Black, Congressional, RTJ @ Lake Manassas, The Dunes Club or Bulle Rock I go all out and pull a Partagas 150 B or C. Otherwise I will pull a couple of Padron Annivisario Naturals, Ashton Aged Maduros or Fuente 858 Candelas.

I usually go for a larger cigar, either a churchill or a corona gorda.

I often bring a variety of smokes to the course with me as I often find the mood can vary depending on how my mood, game and weather.

Lately I have been starting pretty early -- 7:30 or so -- so I will often make my first cigar something milder and creamy to go with coffee. Last couple of rounds it has been a Gispert belicoso. Back nine I move to something more interesting...Alec Bradley medalist , Ashton VSG, Fuente Don Carlos. Lately I have been smoking the La Gloria Selectos de Lujos on the course, fantastic big cigar.

Unfortunatly I don't get much time in at the course but when I do I go for a 5 Vegas or a Gurkha Beast.

A Excalibur Dark Night 1066 Lancelot is my choice of cigar for a round of golf. Smile

It is so dry here that a Churchill is usually cracked and peeling before it is finished, so I'll smoke two robustos instead! A Torano Virtuoso (Encore sized?) is good.

Don't want anything too complex or strong while I'm golfing, but good flavor. Been partial to Fuente Hemingway Classics or Punch Curchills.

Either a Gispert Maduro toro or a Flor de Oliva Gold because they are cheap and if I forget it on the ground or step on it, then its no big deal.

I'm new a noobie to cigars and was wondering about cigars and golf. How do you carry the cigar when you swing? Do you have someone else hold the stick??

You give it to your caddy, my good man. He holds it one hand, and your gin and tonic in the other, while you swing. When you need to pee, he may hold that as well. Roll Eyes

I usually smoke a nice A sized cigar when I hit the links. If I swing and my cigar doesn't move I usually hit a nice shot.

Peace.

Oh, and my golf cigar is usually a Canones, but I have been smoking some Torano Casa A's lately. I prefer the Canones. Mild enough you can have something else on the back nine.

Peace.

I usually just smoke my banana leaves. Just as good if not better than a Cohiba.
