Windy and cool here in GA, but it's expected to warm up by Thursday, with possible T-storms on Friday.
Anybody going to the tourney?

Not going to the "Toonamint" as Hootie would say. Hopefully, before I die I will get to walk that beautiful course.(Would love to play it, but that would just be greedy). I don't suppose TV does it any justice, although I guess HD makes it a little better.
Who do you think will win? Tiger?
I hope it is another first time Major winner. Paul Casey
Or maybe Greg Norman can pull more magic like last years British Open.
Can't wait either, don't think you can really beat against Tiger especially what he did 2 weeks ago. Take Tiger out though and I would like to see Hunter Mahan do it this year. He has come a long way since the Ryder Cup last year.

Tuesday: weird weather here, there were very, very light flurries this morning, with temps in the low 40s, windy.
It has remained somewhat windy and raw throughout the day. Yesterday, Tiger played the back nine in these conditions, but it's supposed to clear up tomorrow and be mid-70s Th-Sun, still a chance of T-storms Friday.

I caught the very end of ESPN's coverage of the Par 3 tournament today. Really liked Gary Player's par on the 9th hole. First shot in the water, Third shot rehit from the tee in the hole.
Also very cool to see Nicklaus, Palmer and Player all in the same group.
I'm not a "Phil guy." Nor have I been a big Norman fan; I like Tiger. But Phil played some stupendous golf yesterday, just as Norman did at Augusta years ago before failing.
You have to be great in order to fail spectacularly as Norman did, or as Phil did to a lesser extent yesterday. Having never been anywhere close to that kind of greatness at anything myself, I can't know for sure, but I don't think either has much to hang their heads about.

Further on yesterday's doings, I feel sorry for KP, even though he got his fondest wish at last year's Ryder Cup; he's a good man. That being said, I love Cabrera's style and guts. Some guys, you just know you'd enjoy playing a round of golf with, and Cabrera is one of those.

My name is Indigo Montoya, you killed my father, now prepare to die
i had a feeling, with the hour long seve lead-in and all, that cabrera was going to avenge his countryman, roberto di vicenzo, and win eventhough cabrera made it more difficult for himself that it could have been, right through the sudden death playoff, until the final approach and final putt
i kept repeating to myself, that silly line from the movie, Princess Bride - "My name is Indigo Montoya, you killed my father, now prepare to die ! "
i know tommy aaron did not gain anything by maintaining an incorrect scorecard and i suspect bob goalby would have welcomed a play-off and of course vincenzo himself allowed he could have checked the card BEFORE he signed it, so the event in 1968 was unfortunate for all the parties involved (the masters gave both goalby and vicenzo each the cigarette case gift to the winner)
i like when a current tournament has some kind of connection to a past tournament somehow
as for perry and chad and tiger and phil and furyk et al - well they ALL had their MULTIPLE chances (it seemed for a while no one was going to win it)
i sure hope ANGC gets a federal bailout so we can nationalize the course and open it to the public
