I started out pretty good...took 2 strokes off my index, but then got a crick in my neck, got real tight in the shoulders, screwed up my mechanics and my head and put 1 stroke back on...feeling loose now and maybe getting it back...have an outing tomarrow at a fancy club (site of a past Major), so we'll see how it goes.
The risk of kicking butt is you get some crap on your shoe
Bought a new driver this year, Callaway 460 X, has really improved my driving accuracy considering I was using an old Taylormade 200 Steel. Got the handicap to about a 14. Havent putted well lately though.
Are you gonna bark all day little doggy, or are you gonna bite?

After a good beginning (for me) of bogey, par, par, bogey, I played like crap. Too many doubles and triples before righting the ship a bit for the final holes. The course I played was Ridgewood, site of the US Senior Open in 1990 (Trevino over Nicklaus). I went to a practice round that year and followed Lee, Gary, Jack and Arnie around the course. Trevino was a major jokster. Absolutely beautiful course and club house. Very comparable to Baltusrol or Winged Foot (same era, same architect), just not as long. Played from middle tees at 6650 yds.
