"Stick with what got you there" After some scrambling and a few birdies and bogeys I was standing on the 12th tee today even par. All day I had been hitting a little 5-10 yrd fade. I usually am a right to left player. So I tell myself that I must be playing the ball just a little to far forward and decide to move it back a little so I can hit my draw. 12 is a dogleg left with a river bordering it. I hit my draw alright about a 30 yrd hook in to the river. Long story short they jumped all over me and I double that hole and had two more bogeys on the way in for a 4 over. Needless to say I lost the back nine and overall plus presses. A cold one and a LGC #2 on the porch made it alright though. NEVER FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN UNTIL YOU ARE IN THE SHOP (practice range).

" and now I've got a 40-yard bunker shot. That's like spending a week with your mother-in-law""

I will confess to being the world's worst on-course "tinkerer". I know it's stupid. But alas, so am I, apparently.

Warm weather. Salt air. Cold beer. Big Cigar.
