Got an early Christmas present and played a round with it on Friday. A confidence inspiring club, to say the least. When I hit it on the screws, I cannot believe how loud it is. Ball flight was a little high - probably should have gone with the 9.5 or 10 degree (it is a 10.5). Not sure if I will keep the draw setting or switch the weight distribution. Overall, this a hot club.

Coriolanus,
I build clubs as a hobby, and can tell you from my knowledge base you have a great club there. Hit a coupke of dozen balls off the tee and if you are not dead pulling them leave it with the draw. There is also a concensus of opinion that says higher lofts get more distance, so the 10.5 was in reality a good choice. With the draw setting you will put forward spin on the ball and will therefore increase the roll after it lands which can suffer with a higher lofted club. After you are really confident with your ability to hit the R7, think about teeing it up slightly lower or closing the clubface slightly prior to address to reduce the loft but remember closing the clubface may increase the draw. Hit am long, hit em straight.

Thanks ralph. I really need to hit a few hundred more balls with it. I will also need to wear earplugs!
