581 yrd. par 5

I didn't get all of my tee shot...

Second shot, 5 wood from 236 with range finder.

42 ft. putt (huge left to right, down hill)... nothing but cup!!!!

Oh by the way... GO PENS!!! Smoking a CAO LX2 while watching game 4.

I was just wishing for anything within 3 feet to make a birdie and nothing but the bottom of the cup.... I'm still stoked.

Wonderful. Still waiting for my first. And you chose a fine smoke to celebrate.

Congrats!!!

I still remember my first eagle...I was 14, it was during the summer, a Friday morning playing with one of my friends...375 yard, par 4, sharp dogleg right with trees down the right side...I hit a perfect tee shot that started down the left center of the fairway and faded around the dogleg...had about 135-140 yards left with the pin on the front middle of the green. I hit a nice, high 6-iron that faded perfectly toward the pin...it landed just on the front of the green, took a few small bounces and rolled right into the cup.

I've had many since then but there will never be another "first" eagle!!!

Here's wishing you many more!

Congratulations!!
With the way I am playing right now, I can rest assured I will never have an eagle.

Great story.
I probably couldn't describe my "first time" with such accuracy.
But that's golf.
What a great game.

Even with as much golf as I've played in my life, I can recall lots of shots/rounds from the past...my wife gets pissed because I can remember such "useless knowledge" but can't remember to empty the dishwasher...LOL...

Ugh make me jealous...I've had 3 chances at eagles. two of them were less than 10 ft away and I choked. Didn't make birdie either. Congrats!

I hear ya. I can recall some of the eagles I've made...when they won me a big bet, or were holed out from a green side bunk, or sank a 60+ foot snake...but can't recall my first or most since then. I've made a number of eagles on par 4's.

Never had one, but came close to an eagle four times. Two were on par 5s where I was on in two, closest putt was about 20 feet. Once on a par four, I hit a beauty of a drive and my sand wedge nearly went in. Then there was the time I very nearly had a hole-in-one. One of these days...

You'll do it Dave.

I had an Eagle on the third hole at Forest Park when I was 15. A raised tee I hit a 3-iron and the ball hit a tree and richocheted onto the green and into the hole.

Shocked the heck out of me and the other three in our group

Congrats on the Eagle! I have had only 1, and that was pure luck. 6 Iron from 185 hole-out. I lipped out an eagle on a par 5 2 weeks ago, but I can't remember too many other eagle opportunities.
