That's terrible to hear. Tiger is one of (if not THE) classiest athletes of our time. To suggest he's "playing" on his knee is offensive...to him as well as all of his fans. The game of golf (and his game of golf) is simply better than that. I would have LOVED to see Rocco win, but it just didn't happen. I don't think there is any need to put Tiger's integrity into question when considering the result of this years US Open.

To a certain extent I agree that Tiger nuts-up ALL the time, and is one of THE fiercest competitors in any sport...alongside Ty Cobb, Jackie Robinson, Pete Rose, Dick Butkis, Dale Earnhardt, Seabiscuit, and perhaps a handful of others...including Jack Nicklaus. However, it seems that the media already had that lame excuse lying in wait in the event Tiger didn't win it. The media almost created the situation as an excuse, which is too bad, because the injury as an excuse is how some people obviously feel. Maybe the grimace was from a bad tomato or something...! LOL!

You're right...its a forum and you can say what you want...and I want to say it was an asinine statement...BTW, I'm not a huge Tiger fan, and wanted to see Rocco win, but I know greatness when I see it, and I know Tiger is no Sergi-no or Phil-less drama queen...if he grimaced and limped, it was real...oh, he'll be back and win tournaments.

Did you guys hear what Johnny Miller said about Rocco?

"How he's a guy that doesn't belong on the tour, he should instead be cleaning Tiger's pools"?

Now that was an assinine statement.
