EUROPEAN Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie has already secured the services of a Scot for his support team at Celtic Manor next year after asking David Purdie, one of Britain's most accomplished speakers, to reprise his role of speech caddie in Wales.
Professor Purdie last offered advice on public speaking to a Ryder Cup captain when he worked with Sam Torrance at the Belfry in 2002.

according to what i read about what the pros says about the ryder cup being a pressure cooker beyond anything else including an open tournament, i like it despite the BS leading up to it

it also seems to highlight the animosity among some players who really dont like each other but typically stick to the script in other competitions, plus the vitrol seems to even include the players' wives now
