I've heard that this course - a Donald Ross design and Joe Louis' old stamping ground - is under threat from a proposal to sell it off as land for housing.

Just wondered if anyone here has ever played it.

I played it many, many years ago. I remember it as a fairly short, but nice course that finished with a tough par four 18th hole.

The course I grew up on was the U of M Radrick Farms course (an early Pete Dye design) in Ann Arbor.
