I am specifically talking about wedges 60 and above, Lob wedges or so they call them. Today I tried a 64 degrees wedge that belongs to one of the pros at my club, and I think I like it a lot. It's very helpful in close chip shots as you can swing it easier without fear the ball might go farther than you want.
I was looking on ebay now and I found there are even more lofted wedges, 66 and 68. Does anybody here use these? How helpful are they? I am considering one.

IMO going beyond a 64* wedge is unnecessary. With a 64, you should be able to play any type of flop shot with easy...provided the bounce matches the terrain you're playing. I carry a 52* and 56* wedge. When in need, I simply lay the face of the 56 open and play the high shot I need. There is no need for anything more than a 64* and (to be honest) in my experience, very few players carry any wedge with more loft than 60*. Just my 2 cents.
I heard Jack Nicklaus on television once say something that changed my short game. He said take every wedge out of your bag except a 56 degree. Learn to hit every shot inside 80 yards with that wedge, and it will teach you the short game and lower your score.
I did that a few years back and it really simplified my thought process inside 80 yards, and vastly improved my short game.

Good advice. I carry a 52 56 60 and 64 but I can make any shot (most times) with my 52. I'll be pulling a few clubs from the bag this years.
unless you play from linoleum, any amount of grass allows the club to slide right under the ball - you'll get it to hit your nose but i think you'll get tired of that
additionally, what club to you remove from your bag in place of this additional wedge ?
surprisingly a cheap chipper club or a seven iron and s wedge will do it all for 99.999% of all non-tour players
what ? a borrowed club ? you'll never ever hit it as well once you buy it - it a law of golf

Haha, yeah, I am aware of that law, actually it applies to everything in life; things lose the appeal they once had before you bought them, right after you buy them.
I managed to get a good deal on a pre-owned Cleveland CG10 58 degrees wedge from ebay, thing is though, it comes head-only, so I will have to find a shaft for it. Not a big prob though I can find one easily here. 58* is not as high lofted as I wanted (I already have a 56* sand wedge) but I couldn't find any good deals on 64* wedges.

Jack Nicklas advise is right on. Wish I could get hockey advise from Gretzky. Carry one or two wedges and learn to hit all your short shots with them and you will be much better than alternating between more wedges. I use a sand wedge for my 90-100 yd shot and then lob wedge for everything inside 90 yards. My short game is best part of my game. Wish we could play soon here(Ontario) but winter still hangin on. Anyways thats my 2 cents worth.
I carry 3: P, SW & Lob(60). I have a huge gap between the "P", which I hit about 140 and the "SW" which I hit 105. I'm going to put another wedge in my bag this year to fill that gap.
HA! I actually use them all. My SW has very little bounce, so it's very easy to hit off the fairway. I really can't imagine carrying anything higher than a 60 degree. I frequently lay my lob open a bit to get more loft when I need to hit a 30-40 yd shot with a lot of loft...short-sided to a tight pin. Doesn't always go the way I envision it, but it never stops me from trying it :-)
I play the lob out of most greenside bunkers, unless I have to carry the ball a long way.
