I currently own a Cleveland Hi-Bore driver and am looking to purchase something different. What do you think is the best driver out there to purchase at this time. My original thoughts are the Calloway FT-5 or a Tayormade Superquad...suggestions???

Callaway FT-5. I went through the fitting process with the Callaway reps and it is by far the most accurate driver I have ever played. Long too, which is nice. But you MUST get fit, the shaft and head combos make all the difference with that club.

Tony Pena persimmon with an XS steel shaft. Oops, I was thinking about when I was 18 (age, not handicap). Wink

They are all good if they are fit properly (loft, flex, length, etc...) for you.

Do yourself a favor, when you buy, don't buy directly off the rack. See a PGA Club Pro and have him/her do a fitting to get your "correct" specs.

Once you've got the "correct" specs, buy any club you like that matches those specs and you will be very happy with your purchase.

Superquad is the best driver out their. It is longer than the Ft-5 and you can work the ball very well.

Beautiful club, though, isn't it?

Get fit there is no "Best driver" it all depends on your swing, you have to try out different drivers to see what is going to optimize your launch angle, spin rate and ball speed.

Come again? You know I don't speak Spanish. In English, please. What? You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole... wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? I'm not even mad, that's amazing.
