What is the best round or worst round you ever played doesn't have to be a score.

Best: Pinehurst #2 with a good friend. Lost the nassau on 17, went double or nothing on 18. Hit my tee ball wide left, almost OB, took a five wood 180 yds uphill, split two trees and landed on the green and stopped 18 inches from the hole. Made the putt for birdie as our wives came out on the veranda. A very fun moment. I shot a 100 for the day. Greens are damn hard! Best round I've ever had is a 89 for 18 holes, and a 40 for 9 holes (man, I wish I had the time that day to keep going).

Worst: Too many to count. Usually its scoring way too high, not having any good holes to bring back as shining moments of greatness like the above story. Playing Popppy Hills ten years ago comes to mind. Couldn't do anything right, and when I did, it was in a bad position because it was a blind shot.

Best Score: I shot a 67 at the muni track in College. We were playing in a large money game, so I won quite a bit that day.

Best Round: My Great-Grandfather played in a few U.S. Opens as an ameteur and bought me my first set of clubs when he learned I wanted to pick up the game at 12 years old. 6 months later we go see hime in Ohio for our family reunion and I get to play my first round of golf with him (only my 10th ever). At 76 years old at the time he shot a 72 on a pretty hard course. I can't remember what I shot, but I did make my first birdie ever with him watching. Par 4, I hit driver then 3 wood and left myself with about a 25 foot putt. The ball nailed the back of the cup and popped in. I was hooked after that!

Worst Round: I have plenty, I was DQ'd a few times in tournaments and hit 4 shots O.B. on 1 hole in a tournament.

Best: 88 (only been golfing 3yrs)

Worst: NO IDEA

The best part is I get to golf for free my girlfriend works at a metropark with a golf course, so I don't always care how I play because I didn't have to pay for it! I just like being out there.

My best round score wise was an 84. Worst, one hundred and who knows what. However my best moment in golf can last Monday. Hit two of the best shots of my life in one round. A par 5, hit a descent drive that left me about 220 out. Hit a 3 iron over the lake in front of the green and landed about 20ft from the pin. Made birdie.

Then on 18 during the same round it was a short par 4. Prolly playing 300 slightly uphill. Hit a perfect drive over the trees guarding the green and right into the cup. A walk off hole in one on a par 4. just incredible.

Congrats!

Where I play, some consider a hole-in-one on a par 4 a double eagle as well (because its harder than a hole-in-one), personally I like the hole-in-one for a par 4 because I feel you can only shoot a double eagle on a par 5 thats what makes it difficult.

I prefer the term hole in one because it has a better ring to it. Just my opinion
