I was just going to bump the "tiger" thread in cigar talk with this news.
What will the analysts have to discuss during a PGA event now? I can't believe the amount of coverage he gets. "Well, he's 12 shots back with 9 holes to play Jim, what does he have to do to pull this one off?" But, I guess people love to watch him play.
While there's no denying he's the best in the field nowadays, it will a be refreshing change to watch the other guys play. I enjoyed watching The Player's Championship this year.

Yeah, people get tired of the media talking about Tiger...its hard not to, when he's won 30% of his tournaments. That is just a flat out astounding stat. Ratings will plumment the rest of the season with him on the sidelines. Will Phil win 30% of his starts with Tiger not in the field? I doubt it, but we'll see. Jack won maybe 20% of his starts in his prime. Phil-less ain't no Jack, much less Tiger.
