I was playing in a Charity Tournament my company was putting on. 4 man, captain's choice format.

3rd hole (http://www.playcrookedcreek.com/golf-course/scorecard.aspx). I took my tee shot straight across the lake, 290 yards to carry the water. Shot landed 10 feet right of the green, pin high...very puttable. I was last to putt and ran in a 60-70 footer. Unfortunately, the team didn't do so well...but at least this gave us something to talk about in the clubhouse.

LOL. The putt was a total hit and hope...but it's the kinda story you tell over and over again in the locker room.

This weekend I'll be at the coast in Calabash NC for a three day golf orgy and low country seafood. 27 holes on Friday & Saturday, 18 on Sunday. 24 guys in the group.

We're playing a Best Ball game Friday morning, a Stableford game Saturday, and Capt's choice for the 9 hole rounds (Fri & Sat afternoons) and the 18 on Sunday. It's always a fun trip. Six father and son pairs in the group (me included).
