Yes, Cigar Aficionado and Wine Spectator, along with the Richemont Group, are sponsoring a charity golf tournament for a new organization called Els For Autism. Ernie Els and his wife Liezl have a young son who has the disorder, and have been active in supporting the search for a cure.
The dates are March 22 and 23rd at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, on the Champions course there. There is a great roster of PGA Tour veterans and Hall of Famers who have signed up to play, including Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Greg Norman, Raymond Floyd, Luke Donald Justin Rose, and many more.
The tournament is already sold out. But we're hoping to expand it in 2010.

According to my sources, there are a couple of courses operated by Foxwoods that are quite good. And, I'll ask Dave Savona, but I think there's a place called Great River that isn't too far away.
I'll be checking myself to see where I can detour on my way up on Saturday.

Re the Els Autism event--nice feature on Golf Central--also thx CA for your web report.
Re playing at the Big Smoke Foxwoods--I've got tee times Sat and Sun at Lake of Isles right next door-I'm a Pete Dye fan--they have a special-two rounds within 90 days(I think) for 115.00, if booked in April. See all at the party.
