I've smoked two of the Liberty 08s. It clearly is not on a par with the Libertys from 2003 or 2005 (two excellent cigars).
The cigar is mild to medium, smooth, one-dimensional. It lacks the richness of the Diploma or 11/18 and the complexity of Camacho's recently introduced 10th anniversary series.
I am a Camacho fan but have found all of the Liberty editions since 2005 disappointing, the 2008 included.
I am a huge camacho fan and I have yet to try the Liberty's I love the Corojo Limiteds, I also have some of the 1962 PE's resting in the Humi, cant wait for them.

I splurged and picked up four of the Liberty '05s at my B&M a couple of weeks ago. I smoked one while in Maine last week and loved it, loved it, loved it. I gifted one for a family special occasion, and still have two left. For some special occasion of my own.
