A few of my friends just started smoking and I suggested they try some Cameroon cigars. I have tried the Carlos Torano 1916 corona and It was good. But I was wondering if there are any other noteable Cameroon cigars. I was thinking about either the CAO Cameroon or a Indian Tobacco Cameroon Legend. If you guys can comment on these two cigars or recommend some other Cameroon's I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I just had one of the CAO Cameroons last weekend. I normally smoke much stronger cigars. I would say that for a mild cigar it had pretty good flavor, much more so once I smoked it to half way. It's a great morning smoke. Of the milder cigars this one of my favs. I would recommend it. One caveat - I smoke the older blend. Not sure how much different the newer blend is.

AF hemminway is the best cameroon around IMO. The torano 1916 is real nice too.

The Flor de Oliva Grand Cameroon is a good cigar and a good value, IMHO.

I also like the Upmann Vintage Cameroon. The corona is the best size in IMO, but the others aren't bad either. Ditto on the other responses.

Excalibur 1066. (Make sure it says 1066). Partagas is cameroon, but I don't like them much.

Give the Astral Cameroon Selection a try. My favorite is the perfeccion size(7" tapered from a 48 ring).

On the Indians - I smoked a few of them and I give them thumbs up. Nice flavors, smooth burn, and good ash. They both finished a little bitter, but overall great smokes and decent value.

Other smokes - 1066's are good, as are the CAO offerings.

I smoked a big Excal 1066 71/4 *54 a couple of weeks ago while on the floor at the Borgata in AC. One of the best cigars I have smoked in my ten years of smoking stogies, nuf said!

The Padilla cameroon isn't coming out this year. You should really try the Conn. line though

Gotta agree with pmpimbura, AF Hem Signature is the best Cameroon around. I have tried the 1916 Robusto and although it's not as good as the Fuente, it is still a decent smoke - especially considering the price. You might also consider the CAO Cameroon, especially the Churchill.

The Excalibur 1066 is a great Cameroon cigar. It isn't too bold but not to mild.

Smokum, I forgot about the Afrique. Bought a box of 10 Kilimanjaro about a year ago - darn good smoke! Senior moment I guess.

Why with the Afrique cigars do you get either 10 for $55 or 25 for $100. Are the cigars in a box of 10 superior to the cigars in boxes of 25?
